Welcome

Dr Williams is in private practice focused on psychoanalysis. Dr Williams has extensive experience in emergency psychiatric assessment, crisis stabilization, inpatient psychiatric care, addiction treatment, and oncology support services.. She has a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in California and holds a master’s degree from Yale University. She was trained in contemporary psychoanalytic psychotherapy during her clinical internship at the Wright Institute in Los Angeles and did her postdoctoral work in rural Alaska working in tribal health. Prior to getting her PhD in clinical psychology, Dr Williams practiced as a nurse-midwife, women's health nurse-practitioner and internationally as a maternal health advisor. Dr Williams is a dual citizen currently based out of  Wellington, Aotearoa/New Zealand. She is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in California (#31494) and New York (#024234).
